Books lately - December 2016

December books

Fairest, Winter, Stars Above by Marissa Meyer - finally I finished this series, it was ver good from the beginning. The only 'bad' thing about series like this is all the in-between stories/books.

The Time of Our Lives by Jane Costello, Thursdays in the Park by Hilary Boyd,
Since You're Leaving Anyway, Take Out the Trash by Dixie Cash - the much needed chick-lit during the exams. Cute books, fast reads and the obvious happy-end.

Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick - found it in audio,so it was meant to be. It's a nice book, very much like the Mindy Kaling and Amy Poeheler but not as good. Maybe because I read all of them this year, I don't know.

Defiant Brides: The Untold Story of Two Revolutionary-Era Women and the Radical Men They Married by Nancy Rubin Stuart - somehow I expected a romance novel here, and not biographies of two women from the American revolution era. But it is an interesting book, if you like this topic then it's a must.

Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley - I'm still reading this one, it is a bit different for me in a good way.
